National Survivors of Suicide Day is Saturday, November 21, 2009
There will be local conferences for this year’s National Survivors of Suicide Day in over 230 cities in 15 different countries this Saturday. Please join other survivors of suicide loss in your community or register to watch the 90-minute program from your home computer and take part in an online chat afterwards.
National Survivors of Suicide Day takes place every year on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. It includes a blend of emotional support and information about resources for healing. Survivors and mental health professionals discuss their experiences and address questions like: Why did this happen? How do I cope?
