I know how it feels to loose a child you love very much
My heart breaks for you as I read about your wonderful son.I know how it feels to loose a child you love very much. I say that because on August 30th my son who was only 48 walked his soon to be daughter in law down the asile to marry his only son. He had been feeling under the weather for a day or so and had gone to the doctor. The doctor said he had a prostrate infection and it would clear up in about ten days. five days later his kidneys shut down and he went to the ER. They said he was dehydrated and admited him, within 24 hours he was in acoma. He was transfered to the university where they began to give him plasma. Then they said he needed surgery. He was opened from stem to stern and given 93 pints of blood because his blood would not clot. He had become septic but we were told they did not know what his problem was. For 24 days he lay in acoma and was on life support. We never got the chance to say goodbye ,all we got to do was watch him die a very painful death and on sept 24 they pulled the plug. When the people at the funeral home received the body they had to wrap him in plastic because he was leaking fluid from every hole they had stuck a needle in. at one time he had 21 bags of fluid going into his body but his kidneys were not filtering it out and he was swelling up. I know if I am senseable that he is better off without all the pain but how do you tell a mother that the tiny baby that was laid in her arms and fead at her breast, taught how to walk, talk and loved with all her heart to let go and go on???. I lost a child at the age of eight days, that was a son also. I pray that some how, someway God will comfort you and all who have lost a child no matter the age. Try to remember the good times and all the love you shared with your son. I will say a special prayer for your comfort. God be with you during your time of grief and loss. Sara
