It’s important to us as moms of our children that died to honor their precious lives
Mimi, I gave birth at 35 weeks to a set of twins (08-10-87)……….boy/girl. This was my fourth pregnancy. My little girl was stillborn. My husband , my doctors, & I fully expected the delivery of heathly twins. It was a shock to everyone in the delivery room that our baby girl was stillborn. Our baby boy was alive & well. Her birthing cry was silent, his birthing cry was so strong. I experienced extreme sadness, yet extreme joy at their birth. The point I’m wanting to make: the pain, sadness, heartache does lessen over time. The first set of holidays or celebrations are very hard. I found it helped to memorialize my daughter. I bought a crystal goblet & had her name engraved on it. I will light a candle to honor her memory during our family celebrations. It’s important to us as moms of our children that died to honor their precious lives. We carried them under our hearts. We will carry them in our hearts forever! My thoughts & prayers are with you.
