We only have to deal with one moment at a time
Cynthia,
I am so sorry about the death of your precious son, Ryan. In the world of grief, 17 months is still so recent and so raw. Please be patient with yourself, because the loss of a child is one of the most difficult things we must endure. This is a loss that affects every cell of our body, our minds and our spirits.
Our beloved son died 4 years ago and there were times I thought I was losing my mind. There were times that I didn’t see how I was going to make it another day even though I had other family members that I loved. I found it hard to have hope in a future, but now I have that hope again.
During the early times of our grief we must remind ourselves that we only have to deal with one moment at a time. It is good that you are reaching out to others.
Gentle Hugs,
Debra Reagan
