Grief | Grieving | Death of a Child

Dear Mothers

May 10th, 2008 . by The Grief Blog

 Dear Mothers,

I pray for a peaceful and happy Mothers Day for my mother and all those mothers out there who have had a child die.  May all of you take comfort in knowing that despite the fact that your child is no longer here, you remain forever their mothers and you were wonderful mothers while your children were on this earth.  A mother holds her child’s hand for awhile, but their heart forever.  Mom, thanks for being a great mother and for showing me that despite losing Scott, you somehow were able to continue to love and support your remaining daughters.  I know Scott remains forever in your heart and in your life.
